Promotions at Koret
Oakland, Calif.–based Koret, owned by St. Louis–based Kellwood Co., promoted 18-year Koret veteran Mary Hinson to chief operating officer, a title she will hold along with her current title, executive vice president of Koret wholesale. In her new, expanded position, she will oversee wholesale operations of Koret, Napa Valley and new brands, as well as continue to oversee strategic planning, business development, marketing/corporate communications, customer service, e-commerce and systems for the Koret division. Kellwood also promoted Linda Harrison to executive vice president of sales for Koret from her position as senior vice president of sales. And Debra Garcia was named president of the Kellwood Retail Group Inc., a division established in early 2006 to pursue vertical retail business opportunities for Kellwood’s brands, including retail stores for both Koret and Sag Harbor, as well as Kellwood warehouse outlets.
