New at Blue
Commerce, Calif.–based Blue Holdings Inc. named Larry J. Jacobs as its new chief financial officer, succeeding Patrick Chow, who will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue other opportunities. Jacobs has 35 years of experience in auditing, financial consulting and operational and administrative management, including 20 as an audit and business consulting partner at Southern California consultancy Stonefield Josephson. Previously, he was the chief operating officer of Complete Clothing Co., based in Vernon, Calif. In a separate announcement, Blue Holdings said the company has inked a licensing agreement with North Star Apparel Corp. to extend the reach of the Antik Denim brand in the United States, Japan, Korea, China, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Australia and Mexico. Under the terms of the deal, North Star Apparel has the worldwide rights to sell Antikbranded products for all knit categories.
