Timberland Buys Howies
The Timberland Co., based in Stratham, N.H., acquired active-sports brand Howies Ltd. The brand, founded “for the inspired action- sports and outdoor customer” seeks to convey an environmental and socially conscious message. The brand’s management team in Cardigan Bay, Wales, United Kingdom, will continue to lead the company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
