New Generation Expands in China
Miami Lakes, Fla.–based software developer New Generation Computing Inc. is expanding its presence in China in order to provide support for U.S.-based manufacturers and importers.
The company opened support facilities in Shenzhen (near Hong Kong), Shanghai and Xian. The Chinese staff is being trained and certified in the United States and will be available to New Generation customers for support in the coming months.
The company develops industry-specific software to manage all aspects of apparel production and post-production from sourcing to delivery. In addition, it intends to market software products directly to the Chinese factories. The company has converted its Shop Floor Control products to Simplified Chinese to assist the facilities in managing their production activities and improving overall efficiencies.
“These new locations, combined with our current facilities in the United States, India, Mexico and El Salvador, give our customers local support in the geographic areas where they are producing their products,” said Alan Brooks, New Generation’s president.
