Cohen Out at St. John
Richard Cohen, chief executive officer of St. John Knits, has resigned from his position at the Irvine-based company after 18 months. Philip B. Miller, a St. John board member and former Saks Fifth Avenue executive, will serve as interim CEO until a full-time replacement is found. Cohen, a former Ermenegildo Zegna executive, oversaw several changes at St. John, including the high-profile appointment of actress Angelina Jolie as the new face of the company’s advertising campaign. Jolie followed model Gisele Bndchen, who appeared in the company’s first ad campaign after creative director and longtime St. John model Kelly Gray left the company.
