San Francisco Fashion Week '05: Touch Vintage Couture Benefit Show
Fashion Week’s 2005 beneficiary, The Touch Foundation, presented a fashion retrospective featuring creations by notable designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Bill Blass, Carolina Herrera and Emilio Pucci, among others. A black-andwhite sequined satin gown by Carolina Herrera, a Russian folk-inspired printed silk tunic by Emilio Pucci, a satin exotic animal-print wrap dress by George Keyloun and a Mexicaninspired floral-print halter dress with a ruffled neckline by Renee Lewis were among the standout pieces. The clothing was later auctioned off on eBay, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to The Touch Foundation, a San Francisco nonprofit dedicated to improving the health and health care of underserved women and children.
