FBI, CDC Launch Apparel Hotline
Fashion Business Inc. and the California Design College are setting up a job hotline for the apparel industry.
CDC students make up the job pool to fill short- and long-term paid and unpaid positions. The student workers have been prescreened and approved to work as merchandising assistants, fashion show dressers, showroom assistants, design and patternmaking assistants, computer-aided designers, and other positions.
To announce the program, FBI will host a launch party from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at the FBI Resource Center in The New Mart, 127 E. Ninth St., suite 212, Los Angeles.
