Swift Galey's Lucky Deal
Atlanta-based denim and corduroy maker Swift Galey struck a joint venture deal with Lucky Textile Group, a weaving, dyeing, finishing and printing company in Jiangsu Province, China. The deal makes Swift Galey a partner in Lucky’s dyeing and finishing plant in Yixing City, China. A new manufacturing plant in Yixing City is also planned to produce premium denim. The denim facility is expected to be completed by the 2007 Back-to- School season and will have an initial annual capacity of 30 million yards.
