Elevee Teams With ApparelMagic for Web-Based Management
Los Angeles–based suit maker Elevee is expanding its relationship with Glendale, Calif.–based ApparelMagic, having signed on to use Version 10 of the company’s business management software.
ApparelMagic allows companies to share information and collaborate over the Internet on order possessing, EDI and purchasing, manufacturing, inventory control, and a number of other business processes.
Elevee, which outfits the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, LeBron James and a number of other sports celebrities and actors, was looking to streamline design and manufacturing and sales and delivery.
It had been using an older version of ApparelMagic but recently upgraded to the Web-based Version 10, which includes added support for in-store kiosks, bar-code scanning, visual, Webbased style catalogs and other features.
Elevee Chief Executive Officer Michael O’Brien said the software has helped the company increase productivity tenfold.
“Although we were already happy with our existing version of ApparelMagic, we are quite pleased to be among the first companies to use the brand-new version of ApparelMagic, which will further help us streamline the business by connecting us to multiple locations around the world,” he said.
John Murphy, president of Murphy & Associates, producer of ApparelMagic, added: “Our relationship with Elevee speaks to our willingness to understand the businesses we serve. While ApparelMagic is suitable for all types of businesses, just like Elevee, it is not a one-size-fits-all solution. We take the time to understand the unique aspects of any business, such as distinctive styles and sizes for Elevee, and recommend to each company the best implementation of ApparelMagic that suits their needs.”
