Tiffany & Co. opened its new Pasadena, Calif., store on Colorado Boulevard on Nov. 17 with a party that was as stately as the 138-year-old company’s crystal. A string quartet from the Pasadena Symphony played as guests gazed at treasures such as Tiffany’s $182,000 pink diamond ring and antique jewels from the company’s archives.
The following day, the Pasadena Tiffany & Co. appealed to sports fans across the United States. The 2005 Rose Bowl trophy, designed by Tiffany & Co., was unveiled at the store. The Rose Bowl game is played in Pasadena annually.
Tiffany & Co. also opened a store in Carmel, Calif., in June.
