L.A. Urban Fashion Week Hits Melrose
The fifth edition of Los Angeles Urban Fashion Week shifts to Melrose Avenue Nov. 25–27, when a number of fashion shows and parties are planned at several venues, all showcasing streetwear.
The kickoff events take place Nov. 25–26 at 7600 Melrose Ave. and follow up at the Bungalow Club, at 7174 Melrose Ave., on Nov. 27. All events take place 7–10 p.m. Show parties are at Club Ice on Nov. 26, at the Bungalow on Nov. 27 and at Basque in Hollywood on Nov. 28.
Among the more than 50 lines featured are Breathe, Punk Mail USA, Kami Shade, Be Free Jeans, Cheron Philippe, Billy Bad A** and Denim Lab. The fashion shows and parties are open to the trade and public.
In addition to the shows, the event includes a Black Friday shopping boutique offering discounted clothing from participating Melrose Avenue retailers.
