New at Liz
New York–based manufacturing giant Liz Claiborne Inc. named Bob Zane senior vice president. The move was part of an executive-level shuffle that also included the promotion of Michael Scarpa to senior vice president of finance and distribution and the naming of John Sullivan as senior vice president of sourcing, service and systems. Scarpa will keep his current chief financial officer title and duties, and Sullivan will continue as chief information officer. Other promotions include Robert Vill to vice president of finance, Gary Ross to corporate vice president of global manufacturing and sourcing, and Paula Zusi to corporate vice president of global manufacturing and sourcing. Ross will oversee global manufacturing and quality initiatives, as well as non-apparel manufacturing. Zusi will oversee apparel manufacturing for Liz Claiborne and the company’s West Coast–based brands: Lucky Brand Jeans, Juicy Couture, Laundry by Shelli Segal and C&C California. The new appointments separate the company’s distribution and logistics division from its sourcing and manufacturing divisions.
