Lee Cooper Sold
London-based denim brand Lee Cooper has been sold to an investment group that includes the owners of the Anchor Blue, Most and Designs retail chains. Boca Raton, Fla.–based investment group Sun Capital, along with The 180 Group and Emerisque Capital, purchased the 97-year-old jeans brand from Matalan PLC for pound;30.5 million, or approximately $58 million. Designs and Most are the exclusive outlet retailers for Levi’s and Dockers in the United States.
