Tukatech Hires New Manufacturing Exec
Emilio Divona has been named vice president of manufacturing for Los Angeles–based CAD company Tukatech Inc.
Divona will be responsible for manufacturing, customer support and all of the offices under the TukaGroup umbrella of products and services. Specifically, he will oversee the company’s sewing-room solutions, including TukaTrack, and its online and offline data-collection systems with RFID technology. He will work out of the company’s Los Angeles headquarters and its Asian headquarters in India.
Divona has worked in apparel manufacturing for many years. Most recently, he was a consultant for several manufacturers in Indonesia and China. Previously, he served as president of Irving N. Arnold Associates.
“Emilio’s vast knowledge of apparel manufacturing, use of technology and ability to get the best results will help our customers,” said Ram Sareen, Tukatech’s chief executive officer. “Emilio and I worked for INA 30 years ago and have been friends for a long time. We have had a very close working relationship at Tukatech for the last eight years, and we are delighted to have Emilio join Tuka- Group.” —Robert McAllister
