NGC and SourceGO Facilitate Online Procurement
Miami-based New Generation Computing Inc. is helping Washington, D.C.–based SourceGO to power an online procurement service for apparel and textile manufacturers and buyers.
SourceGO is using NGC’s e-SPS software system as well as its own sourcing expertise to help buyers view RFP (requests for proposal) and purchase orders over the Internet.
SourceGO provides global online buyer transaction and tracking services. The e-SPS system will also help SourceGO personnel, as well as garment manufacturers and buyers, to share visibility and event-management activities throughout the procurement process.
NGC’s e-SPS addresses RFPs and bids, pre-production, tracking, collaboration, event management, and quality control.
SourceGO Chief Executive Officer Tom Eggleston said employing technology to manage and monitor sourcing operations can bring companies operating advantages in the post-quota world.
