More American Rag
Private Brands—a subsidiary of Los Angeles–based manufacturer Tarrant Apparel Group and Macy’s Merchandising Group, the sourcing division of Federated Department Stores—has amended its exclusive distribution agreement for American Rag CIE apparel. The original agreement called for an annual minimum purchase commitment for American Rag CIE apparel for two years. The amendment agreement extends the minimum purchase provision to seven years. MMG also acquired the license to design and manufacture non-denim American Rag CIE apparel for men. Under the terms of the agreement, Private Brands designs and manufactures American Rag CIE women’s apparel.
