Cortado Joins Apparel News
Rhea Cortado has joined the fashion department of California Apparel News as editorial assistant, a new position for the publication.
Cortado will be working closely with Fashion Editor N. Jayne Seward to help coordinate fashion shoots, as well as scout for new apparel lines, including lingerie and accessories.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles and has been a contributing writer for Fugue magazine. She also has retail experience with such boutiques as the Lisa Kline Outlet and Giant Robot.
“We are very pleased to have Rhea join the editorial department at California Apparel News,” said Executive Editor Alison A. Nieder. “Her experience in journalism, fashion and retail will be an asset to the fashion department.”
