Thomas Pink Moves to Los Angeles
Thomas Pink, which has been known for inserting vibrant colors into traditionally reserved English wardrobes since the 18th century, will be opening its first Southern California store on June 13.
The store will be located in the Westfield Century City shopping center in West Los Angeles, Calif.
Thomas Pink manufactures clothing for men and women. Best known for tops often bearing vibrant stripes, the label makes formal, casual and business-casual shirts for men. Its women’s shirts are frequently based on men’s styles, but they are tailored for a woman’s body. The company also makes knitwear, ties and sleepwear.
The label was named by O, The Oprah Magazine as one of “Oprah’s Favorite Spring Things” in 2003. Thomas Pink also operates three stores in New York, more than 15 stores in London, and stores in Asia and Continental Europe.
The debut of the Thomas Pink store might help make June the unofficial British fashion month in Los Angeles. English lifestyle brand Ted Baker will celebrate the grand opening of a store on 131 N. Robertson Blvd. on June 16.
