Los Angeles–based Shay Todd defined her style with a collection of sexy, sophisticated and pulled-together looks that brought the audience to its feet.
Todd, who has been honored by Gen Art and who appears regularly during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, Calif., showed daring suits with low-cut deacute;colletage and clean lines in beautiful shades of grape, emerald, chocolate, raspberry and white. Resort looks included a studded knit dress with a sexy keyhole front, a beautiful terry strapless dress, and gauze tunics and balloon pants. Rhinestone Buddhas decorated one-piece suits and tops, and long tassels dangled from the hair of the models to create the ethnic-inspired look of the collection.
