Eye-popping color and a sexy yet sweet look characterized the Spring/Summer 2006 collection from Sais by Rosa Chaacute;.
Brazilian designer Amir Slama, best known for his sexy couture Rosa Chaacute; collection, said his youthful secondary line was inspired by the dancing days of the 1980s in Brazil. The collection included elements from the north of the country and the south shore. “You’ll see the difference of the regions with the prints,” he said.
The line included colorful graphic prints, gingham patterns, floral details and sexy retro shapes. A white open-front one-piece with a yellow hooded towel wrap and a multicolor blocked bodysuit were part of the brilliantly staged show. —N. Jayne Seward
