[TC]2 to Host Trade Panel at ASAP
Cary, N.C.–based [TC]2 will host a discussion on global trade during the ASAP Global Sourcing Show, set for Aug. 28–31 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, which is part ofThe Venetian hotel complex in Las Vegas.
Mike Fralix, [TC]2’s president, will moderate the talk, titled “The Fight to Protect the U.S. Textile & Garment Industry.” Participants scheduled to appear include Jim Leonard, chairman of the Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements, and Lawrence Brill, director of market expansion for the Office of Textiles & Apparel.
A number of other seminars will address trade laws, financing, labeling and quality assurance during ASAP, which runs concurrently with the MAGIC International show.
Among the exhibitors at ASAP will be apparel manufacturers offering full-package production services, including sourcing, contract manufacturing and outsourcing. Visitors will be able to meet with manufacturer representatives.
