Asian Divide at Invista
Wilmington, Del.–based Invista, the fiber division of Wichita, Kan.–based Koch Industries, has split its Asian business into two divisions: China/Hong Kong and Asia. The company named William Yeoh vice president of apparel for China/Hong Kong and Jong Se Kim vice president of apparel for Asia. The fiber maker will also invest more than $100 million in a new facility in Foshan, Guangdong, China, which it expects to complete in mid-2006. The company plans to roll out several new products, including black Lycra fibers.
