Milliken Certified
The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration rated textile maker Milliken & Co.’s facility in LaGrange, Ga., a “Star” site in workplace safety and health. The facility won approval from OSHA’s Star Voluntary Protection Program, which assesses a company’s safety and health management systems. With the certification, all 44 of the Spartanburg, S.C.–based textile company’s manufacturing facilities have received OSHA’s VPP Star designation, ranking the company fourth in the nation in the number of VPP Star–certified sites.
