Hello? Kitty?
Sanrio, the Japan-based parent company of Hello Kitty merchandise, has inked a deal with Nokia for a Hello Kitty edition of the Nokia 6010 mobile phone. The hot-pink pay-as-you-go phone is emblazoned with Hello Kitty patterns and features wallpaper, games and ring tones customized to reflect the popular character. The phones are available at select Sanrio stores and on the company’s Web site, www.sanrio.com. Sanrio’s United States headquarters are in San Francisco.
