Researchers Study 3-D With PAD Software
L’Institut Franccedil;ais Textile-Habillement (L’IFTH) is using PAD System Technologies’ Haute Couture 3D software to study 3-D technology for garment production, animation and other uses.
L’IFTH produced more than 30 3-D garments for animated models as part of the project. PAD officials said the institute chose the software for its ability to be integrated into an animation production format.
The research will be used to educate the French sewn-products industry on available best-of-breed technologies.
