New at Chinese Laundry
Leah Formiconi has joined Los Angeles–based Cels Enterprises, makers of Chinese Laundry shoes, as licensing and design coordinator. Formiconi, previously known as Karen Eways, has nearly 15 years experience in the textile industry, most recently with Invista, the maker of Lycra spandex and Tactel nylon. Cels also named television industry executive Jake Tauber as executive vice president. Tauber’s career includes stints at The Game Show Network, Twentieth Century Fox and NBC.
