Gaylord Joins Continental
Fred Gaylord has joined Continental Business Credit Inc., where he will work as senior vice president in the new business and marketing department.
Gaylord joined the Woodland Hills, Calif.–based financial company on Feb. 3, according to Continental Business Credit Partner Vince Lionetti.
A longtime member of the Southern California financial community, Gaylord was previously with Capital Factors for 10 years, most recently as senior vice president. Prior to Capital Factors, he worked for Nation’s Bank.
He is currently the president of the Commercial Finance Conference of California and a board member of City of Hope’s professional finance group.
Lionetti said he is looking forward to working with Gaylord for the first time. “For 25 years, we’ve basically been competitors, but we’ve stayed friends,” Lionetti said.
