Macy's Changes
Cincinnati-based Federated Department Stores announced several executive changes to its Macy’s division in the wake of the company’s merger with May Co. and its planned shuttering of May’s Marshall Field’s and Robinsons-May nameplates. The executive changes on the West Coast include: Daniel H. Edelman, current chairman and chief executive officer of Macy’s Northwest in Seattle, will be president and chief operating officer of San Francisco– based Macy’s West; Robert B. Harrison, current chair of Robinsons- May in Los Angeles, will be president and chief operating officer of Macy’s Northwest; Jeff Gennette, current executive vice president and director of stores at Atlanta-based Macy’s Central, will be chairman and chief executive officer of Macy’s Northwest.
