Sage Goes Western
Los Angeles–based private-equity investment firm Sage Capital Partners LP has acquired a controlling interest in Western-themed apparel and footwear retailer Corral West Ranchwear Inc. Sage said it plans to invest “significant additional capital” into the company to finance its recently launched retail division, Work Wear Depot. The 54-year-old retailer, based in Cheyenne, Wyo., operates 95 stores, mostly in Western states.
