Nano-Tex Names New VPs
Emeryville, Calif.–based Nano-Tex LLC, which markets textile treatments and finishes, hired three industry veterans to its North American business development team. The new executives will focus on the apparel and home furnishings industries.
Marilyn Werner, vice president of business development, will concentrate on apparel in the New York area. Werner previously worked for DuPont Textiles and Interiors, where she helped bring CoolMax to the apparel market. She also worked for Danskin Inc. and Nantucket Industries Inc.
Nicole Nelson, vice president of business development for activewear and intimate apparel initiatives, previously worked at Unifi, helping to develop the company’s Sorbtek hydrophilic polyester.
Wendy Riley, vice president of business development, will be responsible for home furnishings accounts nationwide. Most recently, Riley worked for Newell Rubbermaid, where her duties included national account expansion, strategic evolution and new business development.
