Diane von Furstenberg Announces L.A. Store
The west end of Melrose Avenue is already well on its way to becoming a haven for top designer names, and now Diane is moving in.
Diane von Furstenberg will build a store on the 8400 block of Melrose Avenue, near the Marc by Marc Jacobs shop, which opened March 17.
Von Furstenberg expects to open DVF the Shop, Los Angeles by mid-fall, according to a DVF representative. The design of the 1,700-square-foot store will be similar to the flagship in New York’s Meatpacking District. Design elements will include frosted-glass panels and mirrored ceilings. The shop will also house a built-in cosmetics boutique, featuring the DVF Beauty line.
