Credible Contemporary
Fashion industry veteran Sheri Drobnick unveiled her new women’s contemporary line, Credibility by Sheri Drobnick, on Sept. 8 at the Los Angeles Apparel Mart in downtown Los Angeles. A handful of distinguished guests and apparel business owners—including California Fashion Association’s Ilse Metchek, Frank Ford of Loy and Ford, ABS by Allen Schwartz designer Luciana Cometti, Barbara Knight of Trends West, and Kerry Jolna of the Jolna Design Group—turned out to lend their support.
Drobnick, who previously worked as a consultant at the Directives West buying office in Los Angeles, showed silk tops, linen and stretch-cotton blazers with pleated details, ribbon-trim pantsuits, and metallic dress suits. The line will be geared toward high-end boutiques and specialty department stores. Everything is manufactured in Thailand.
