Handcuffs Sues Nike
New York–based Marshall Gobuty International USA Inc., which founded and produces Handcuffs Sweatshirts, has filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Beaverton, Ore.–based Nike Inc. charging that the footwear giant manufactured and sold Nike products with Handcuffs’ patented built-in roll-up hand warmers without MGI’s permission. MGI is seeking $8 million in damages, plus punitive damages and fees.
