Angels at Rodeo's Brooks Brothers

James W. Jahant kept the lights on late on Oct. 21 at the Brooks Brothers store on Rodeo Drive to celebrate some angels in the midst of the Beverly Hills retail location. Jahant, general manager of the Brooks Brothers store, started a partnership with Project Angel Food, the Los Angeles–based nonprofit that delivers meals to those sick with HIV. More than 80 friends of the organization— including Rodeo neighbor Fabi Oshaneh, manager of the Etro boutique, which opened in July—listened to a jazz band and wished the future collaboration well.

Brooks Brothers will donate more than 500 units of clothing to Project Angel Food’s Divine Design fund-raiser, scheduled for Dec. 3–6 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Jahant forecast a prosperous Holiday season. “Once the election is over, you’ll see the stock market rise, and people will start spending again,” he said.
