Tiffany & Co. Turns 40
The Tiffany & Co. store in Beverly Hills celebrated its 40th anniversary with a cocktail party and fashion show featuring Tiffany jewels.
For the Oct. 5 party, the retailer shuttered a portion of the Two Rodeo cobblestone walk in front of the store to create a private patio. Groove Junkies provided the music as guests sipped cocktails, mingled and perused the jewels on the runway and in the store.
The party kicked off a series of anniversary celebrations. Next up: Tiffany’s will co-sponsor a benefit for the Dream Foundation on Nov. 4 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Priscilla Presley and Tiffany Design Director John Loring will host the event, which will feature tableaux vivants from Loring’s book “Tiffany in Fashion,” an illustration of Tiffany & Co.’s 70-year history.
On Dec. 6, the Beverly Hills store will host a demonstration of porcelain hand painting by an artist from the Atelier Le Tallec porcelain studio in Paris. An exhibition from Atelier Le Tallec’s archives will be on display at the store until Dec. 19.
