Growth Expected for Knitted Fabrics and Apparel
The international market for knitted textiles and apparel is slated to grow by 25 percent during the next 10 years, according to Research and Markets, a Dublin, Ireland–based market research company.
Research and Market’s latest report, “World Markets for Knitted Textiles and Apparel: Forecast to 2010,” states that the global market for knitted textiles and apparel is currently more than 17 million tons per year. The organization expects growth to reach 21 million tons by 2014.
