CFA Hosts P.R. Seminar
The California Fashion Association is organizing a panel to speak on Oct. 14 in Los Angeles about the ins and outs of getting publicity.
The benefits of fashion shows, public relations, trade shows and advertising will be discussed.
The panel will include Alison A. Nieder, executive editor of the California Apparel News; Rose Apodaca Jones, West Coast editor of Women’s Wear Daily; Kristin Young, public relations director of Lucky Brand Dungarees; Brian Watson, owner of public relations company The Watson Circle; Sheri Mobley, owner of Mobley Marketing; and Trina Turk, designer and owner of Trina Turk Inc.
The panel discussion, called “Getting Press, What Is Hype Worth?,” will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in suite 202 of the Cooper Design Space. Admission is free. For more information, call (213) 688-6288.
