Dress Barn Picks Up Maurices
Suffern, N.Y.–based specialty store chain The Dress Barn has signed a deal to acquire Duluth, Minn.–based specialty store Maurices. The 73- year-old Midwestern chain has 464 stores in 38 states and caters to men and women ages 17 to 24. Once the deal has been finalized, Maurices will become a separate division of The Dress Barn.
