Dockers for Sale?
San Francisco–based Levi Strauss & Co. announced it has retained Citigroup Inc. to explore the possibility of selling its Dockers brand. Dockers launched in 1986 and generated approximately $1.4 billion in worldwide annual revenue, according to the company, which said it is looking to reduce its debt “substantially.” The brand includes khaki pants and other casualwear for men, women and children, as well as eyewear and home accessories.
