Vecchiarelli Bros. to Host City of Hope Fund-raiser
Vecchiarelli Bros. Inc. has sent out more than 4,000 invitations and is expecting at least half of the invited guests to attend its May 15 fund-raiser for the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute.
The 65-year-old supplier of dress forms, sewing machines and materials in downtown Los Angeles will sell sewing euipment and supplies at “deeply discounted prices” and donate 20 percent of the day’s sales to the City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., according to company President Joe Vecchiarelli.
This is the third time Vecchiarelli Bros. has held this type of fund-raising event, although this is the first year the company has raised funds for City of Hope
