Mossimo Dispute Ends
The dispute between Santa Monica-based Mossimo and Van Nuys-based Cherokee is over. The California Supreme Court rejected Mossimo’s petition to appeal a lower-court ruling in Cherokee’s favor regarding a finder’s fees agreement between the two companies. The dispute stems from Cherokee’s assistance in securing Mossimo’s licensing deal with Target.
