Quota Fight

Four textile trade organizations have joined forces with politicians to urge the White House to convene an emergency World Trade Organization meeting to discuss the expiration of textile and apparel quotas for WTO members next year. The American Manufacturing Trade Action Coalition, the National Cotton Council of America, the National Council of Textile Organizations and the National Textile Association announced plans to outline their request in a letter to the President signed by members of the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate.
