Ex-Gerber Exec Moves to OptiTex
Veteran technology executive Steve Fineman has joined New York–based CAD/CAM firm OptiTex USA, Inc. as its new senior account executive.
Fineman previously held positions with Gerber Technology and Microdynamics. At OptiTex, Fineman will be responsible for promoting the company’s new line of 2D and 3D, PDM (product data management), PLM (product lifecycle management) and textile design product.
“Having Steve on board will enable us to better answer the specific and unique needs of our current and future large accounts,” said company president Yoram Burg.
Fineman said he hopes to help continue growth at OptiTex. “I see substantial opportunities that can have a major impact on companies hellip; further reduce their overall product development cycle and associated costs. OptiTex has taken the traditional methods of computerized pattern making, grading and marker making, and not only did they improve these processes but then went beyond the existing boundaries and integrated these capabilities into a comprehensive 3D solution.” —R.M.
