New Web Vehicle for Butterfly Jeans
Riverside, Calif.–based Butterfly Jeans Co. has released a redesigned Web site at www.butterflyjeans.com. The new site includes links to wholesale catalogs as well as information on where the product is sold.
Butterfly, founded four years ago by former computer engineer Sam Keungmanivong, markets high-end denim in nine styles and various washed finishes. The jeans, which retail from $168 to $180, are manufactured in Los Angeles and sold at specialty accounts across the country.
The revamped Web site has a Los Angeles flavor, with street signs from Melrose Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard heading the pages. Visitors can view the line as well as zoomed-in details of stitching and pocket areas. Keungmanivong’s brother, Joe, maintains the site.
The brothers’ technology background has allowed them to save on Web site costs and invest more money into product development.
“We’re always experimenting with different types of denim,” Keungmanivong said. “Quality is No. 1 for us.”
Butterfly Jeans come in 7- and 8-inch rises. They are cut to give women some lift in the rear section and feature butterfly appliqueacute;s above the back pockets.
