FIDM Hosts Film Costume Exhibit
The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising will kick off its 12th annual “The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design” exhibit on Feb. 2 at the Museum Galleries in FIDM’s downtown Los Angeles campus.
The exhibit will feature more than 100 costumes from 25 of last year’s films, including “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” “The Haunted Mansion,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “The Missing,” “Seabiscuit” and “The Last Samurai.”
The exhibition runs through April 8, and the gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. For more information about the exhibit, call (213) 624-1200, Ext. 2224. —Alison A. Nieder
