China Changes
The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements has changed some of the requirements for imported knit fabrics, dressing gowns and bras coming from China to the United States. CITA dropped the requirement to include a visa for these goods after hearing objections from Chinese officials. Instead, a “registration certificate” must be filed with the Bureau of Visa Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce or the Provincial Office for Trade and Commerce before importing these types of goods.
