Indicators Up
The leading economic indicator series increased from 1.3 in the fourth quarter of 2003 to 1.97 in the first quarter of 2004, according to Chapman University’s Anderson Center for Economic Research. The indicator series has increased for three consecutive quarters, which suggests employment in the state should begin to pick up, according to Anderson Center analysts.
