Unexpected
Metropark, the store founded to bring boutique culture to suburban malls, celebrated its grand opening on Dec. 2 at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif. The party lived up to the store’s motto: “Expect the unexpected.”
The chiefs of some of California’s hippest labels sipped martinis and browsed through the fashions. Jade Howe, founder of Howe Denim in Huntington Beach, Calif., and Chip and Pepper Foster, founders of the Vernon, Calif.–based Chip & Pepper denim label, were among the guests.
