Wal-Mart Slashes Prices
The nation’s top retailer announced plans to cut prices during the Holiday season after lackluster sales on the Friday after Thanksgiving, traditionally the start of the Holiday shopping season. The mega-retailer opted to keep sales promotions to a minimum on “Black Friday” rather than offer deep discounts as many other retailers did.
