Kwan in at Roxy
Mary Kwan was named senior vice president of merchandising and design for Roxy, the juniors division of Huntington Beach–based surf giant Quiksilver Inc. Kwan is replacing Carol Christopherson, who was promoted to president of retail for Quiksilver Americas. Kwan’s resume includes stints at Levi Strauss & Co., Sears, Roebuck & Co., The Limited, Mervyn’s and J.C. Penney Co. Inc. At Levi’s, Kwan served as vice president of merchandise and licensing for Levi Strauss signature, where she helped launch the moderate brand, which sells in stores such as Wal-Mart, Target and ShopKo.
